"Where is he?" I asked the apprentice breathing heavily.
My high taste for Fashion would not allow me calm down. Immediately I got the Clothes, I ran to the Fashion designer's workshop with the all the strength I could gather.
On getting to His Shop, I was informed that he wasn't around. So with my legs crossed, I sat down on the little cylindrical chair in front of His Shop surfing the internet, of Course with my phone to get a suitable and beautiful style.
Don't mind me, I was too anxious to get the clothes sown that I forgot that I haven't gotten a style.
Immediately I saw the very style that appeals to me, the Fashionista arrived.
I flew from my seat, like someone who sat on a Hot coal and quickly gave him my clothe.
The man with surprise written all over his face looked at me and asked; "What do you want to sow with it?"
I explained everything I wanted to him quickly and told him I would wait for him to finish sowing it before Going.
He told me that he would sow it but I insisted that I would stay with him.
Since he couldn't resist me, he started the sowing process.
He took the clothes, measured it and placed his scissors on it. The scissors moved without hindrance, cutting the clothes to pieces. I stood there looking at the way, my beautiful clothes is being turned into pieces.
When I saw that I couldn't endure seeing him turn my clothes into pieces, I shouted at him but all that came out of his mouth was; "wait for me." But with that he continued the action. I immediately collected my clothes from him and shouted at him with tears in my eyes; "I told you to sow me a nice wear but you turned my clothes to pieces. What has come over you?" I bumped out of his shops and ran to my house with tears.
I spend the whole week mourning and looking for a solution to the torn clothes. Every Fashionista, I took my clothe to, would either tell me they cannot do it or I should return the clothes to the person who cut it into pieces. But how on Earth can I take my clothe back to the same man who destroyed it. Isn't that stupidity?
I took my shreds of clothes and looked at it with tears flowing freely from my eyes, then something spoke softly to me from my inside saying; "This is your Life right now".
I was dazed and confused at the same time. What was that supposed to mean. As if the voice was inside my mind, hearing every thought that was flying through it, I heard it saying; "You gave your life to me because you wanted the bright and glorious future that only me can give.
You surrendered yourself willingly to and told me to work on you, and I began my work but you could not Endure the process. While I was just about to turn your pieces into the fine and beautiful clothes that is beyond what you wanted, you ran out of my hands, half-baked, unmolded and unfinished.
You took your pieces around and caused more problem with it.
You took you unfinished self and dwell daily mourning your own ignorance. When all you could have done is to come back to me.
You cannot teach me how to do my work.
I started my work, you should have allowed me to finish before running out!
If only you have waited for me, your life would have been a wonder to the world.
If only you have waited for me, I would have made the very best out of you.
But you ran away.
You ran far away from me.
When you were told to come back to me, you told them, that going back is stupidity"
Everything began to make sense to me, I left God when it seems life wasn't making sense again and here he his speaking to me through my clothes. "Jesus! Help me" I cried out and knelt down praying to God for mercy.
"Lord I repent, I come back to you. Do what you want with my life. I will wait till you're done" I prayed with tears in my eyes.
After hours of being slain before God, I took my clothes back to the Fashionista and gave it back to him and in some couple of minutes, he joined the pieces and made me a very beautiful dress!
Then I realized that; the dress would have been ready for long, if I have learnt to wait!
We have wasted a lot of time, because we cannot wait!
That unfavourable position you find yourself, might be as a result of what God is doing presently in you life, as long as God is there with you, wait for him!
Trust God with your life and get the best out of Life.
Let him do what he wants to do with you life and see how much of a wonder your life would become.
